Sam moved to Dillon from Glendive in 2016 to attend the University of Montana Western where she earned a degree in Social Science. Sam started working at Precision Eyecare and Optical in February 2023 and has become a Certified Optical Assistant. She takes pride in furthering her knowledge in eyecare to give patients a wonderful experience from check in to check out. Patient care is Sam’s top priority and she enjoys working with patients in all departments of the office!
After graduation, Dr. Oswald completed a residency in the areas of primary care, ocular disease, and surgical co-management at the Walla Walla VA Medical Center and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Kennewick, Washington. He loves to learn and implement new technology and procedures in his practice. He is currently using new designs in contact lenses to help slow down the progression of blurred vision and heal diseased eyes. He can fit people in contact lenses who have been told previously that they could not wear them.

I also understand that Precision EyeCare & Optical does not issue refunds. I also authorize Dr. Oswald to release any information required to process my claims. I also realize payment is due in full 30 days after the invoice date (Net 30). After 30 days, a monthly interest charge of 1.5% and a rebilling fee of $5.00 per month will be charged (time past due). Delinquent accounts over 180 days will be sent to a collection agency, and the consumer will be responsible for reasonable collection/attorney fees over and above the account balance plus interest. Brynlee started working at Precision EyeCare and Optical January of 2024 as a Technician. She loves to meet new people and get to know them.

Dr. Kollodge has also performed a poster presentation at the American Academy of Optometry annual meeting. In addition, he published a paper on retinoblastoma, a childhood ocular cancer. His capstone presentation at the Michigan College of Optometry was “Letters vs. Words: The whole is better than the sum of its parts,” which investigated the perception of letters and words with central and peripheral viewing. Dr. Kollodge’s professional interests include the treatment and management of ocular disease, perioperative care, and primary eye care.
Dr. Oswald purchased Precision EyeCare & Optical from Dr. Kepp in July of 2018. Dr. Oswald is from Idaho Falls and graduated from BYU-Idaho. He has lived in Argentina, is fluent in Spanish, and was a national collegiate Hispanic honor society member. He was also a member of the international optometric honor society each year that he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated Cum Laude. He was a Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities Award recipient in 2011.

Thomas Kollodge, OD, was born and raised in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. He graduated cum laude from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Dr. Kollodge attended optometry school at Ferris State University – Michigan College of Optometry, where he was on the dean’s list. After graduation, Thomas worked at a private practice in Minnesota and then went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. After completing the residency, Dr. Kollodge was employed by a regional hospital system in Wisconsin. Thomas joined Precision EyeCare & Optical in 2023 and enjoys serving the local community.
Jessie started working at Precision Eyecare in 2019. She enjoys serving the Dillon community in all the departments of the office. Her favorite place to be is in the optical helping everyone find the perfect pair of glasses.
Doctor Oswald worked in Central Oregon from 2012 to 2016 in a primary care practice that also provided corrective surgeries such as LASIK. From 2016 to 2018, he worked with Family Vision in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He has volunteered with the Lion’s Club and the school districts in those communities. He is excited to be a part of the community in Dillon, Montana, with his family. Dr. Oswald and his wife, Nikky, have 2 sons. They enjoy playing sports together as a family, and Dr. Oswald loves coaching his sons’ sports teams. They also enjoy fishing, camping, and hiking.

Thomas has served on the board for local Trout Unlimited chapters, as well as Miss Rodeo Minnesota. In his free time, Dr. Kollodge enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife, a native Idahoan, and his family.

He is also a certified diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Board certification is a voluntary process ensuring optometrists continually expand their clinical knowledge, acquire new skills, and adapt to the ever-changing healthcare environment. Ava is a native of Dillon who began working at Precision Eyecare and Optical at the start of 2024. As a technician, she is dedicated to providing the best care for patients. She graduated from the University of Montana Western with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Pre-Professional Medical and Veterinary Sciences. Ava is eager to expand her knowledge in other areas in the office and to contribute to the Dillon community. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling during her free time.
