Each catch basin drain features 4” threaded inlet and outlet connectors for easy installation. A internal outlet seal trap, and a set loose set of .38” x 3.00” slotted grates, that is designed for a flush floor installation.

Each sand interceptor is manufactured by Rockford Separators, and built using an all welded steel construction process.  They are coated inside with OPEX SHOP COAT and a bituminous coating outside, which provides long lasting durability.

Drainage catch basins are an inlet to a drain system, and while they are typically used for commercial applications, there are cases where you would use a catch basin for a residential application. Their basic function is to collect water runoff and separate waste water from heavier than water sand and sediments. They work best when removing particles that are larger than 1 millimeter in diameter.
