The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) says a man wanted on several warrants was picked up on the weekend, thanks one of its drones.

According to police, the man was spotted Saturday evening on a bicycle on Adelaide Street in Shrewsbury — a small  hamlet south of Blenheim.

The 34-year-old was facing charges including firearms, drugs, driving and failing to attend bail offences with municipal police and the OPP.

Chatham-Kent police Sgt. Lynette Rosina says they use drones "as much as we can," normally when looking for suspects or missing people in grass or rough terrain.
