Zinc Selenidetransmission spectrum

All Rayotek ConFlat (CF) sight window metal housings are CNC machined, not cast, to exacting standards. Metal and window materials for all of our sight windows are traceable and certified back to their raw material sources to insure the highest, repeatable quality and reliability.

Using proprietary adhesive bonding systems, Rayotek seals a zinc selenide (ZnSe) window into Stainless steel housing for a visible and IR transparent window that is heat resistant up to 200C in many environments. Zinc Selenide has a transmission range from .6 micron to 21 microns. Our applicable sealing systems are NASA low outgassing approved for high vacuum systems and aerospace applications.
