EO Media Group confirmed their acquisition by Mississippi-based CMG in a press release Wednesday afternoon. This comes after Pamplin Media, Oregon’s largest newspaper group, also sold to CMG back in June.

The company even went through a semi-recent expansion, acquiring the Bend Bulletin and Redmond Spokesman in 2019, as well as launching the Rogue Valley Times after the 2023 closure of the Medford Mail Tribune.
