The good news is they're the more advanced features, such as 180-day video history, and the plans start off relatively cheap at $4 per month. The lights also help the security camera capture better video in otherwise low-light conditions.

The kit is available in a standard option featuring an in-line switch. The kit can be upgraded to the USB version which will allow the lights to turn on and off with the TV. Please note some TV USB ports remain ON while the TV is off – if this is the case the USB switch will not work. You can test this by plugging in a smart phone or tablet into the USB port and check if it charges while the TV is off .

Flexible strips can be cut to size once you receive the kit. Only cut the flexible strips every 3 LEDs where the copper or silver pads are located.
