LED daylight lighting unit with thermo-management, consisting of two light banks for even and soft illumination.  The efficiency of LEDs is much higher than that of conventional light sources. However, because LEDs also convert energy into heat, a thermal management system is necessary for optimal reproducibility, as otherwise both brightness and colour temperature would change as the temperature rises.  The integrated thermo-management ensures that the adjusted brightness as well as the colour temperature always remain constant, regardless of the room and unit temperature, thus achieving reproducible results. In addition, the LEDs have a longer service life.
