what is the faster easier and better route to become a crane operator, is it to pay for a 5 week program to be certified, and look for crane work once i’m done on indeed? or join the IUOE international union of operating engineers apprenticeship program which is free to join for 4 years , and work for a contractor in the program starting out at $19 an hour doing hard dirty work in the beggining and take written and practical exams in the program ?

On June 12, 2022, updates to the provincial Highway Traffic Act Regulation 555/06 (Hours of Service) will come into force. These changes will make it mandatory for commercial motor vehicle drivers who operate within Ontario to use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) to record their Hours of Service (HoS).
