PAPR3M

PAPR assemblies are partial systems that include components required to build a full system or to replace worn parts on an existing PAPR system. They are designed to be compatible with hoods or helmets and tight-fitting facepieces. System parts are compatible with components of the same brand and series.

Healthcare PAPR Kits are complete, ready-to-use systems with two different size head coverings to choose from. Protects healthcare workers from airborne particulates without compromising comfort or flexibility.

Powered air purifying respirators (PAPRs) are battery-powered devices that use a blower to provide clean, breathable air to the wearer. Associated products include blowers, breathing tubes, belts, batteries, chargers, filters, air flow indicators, hoods/helmets, or facepieces. The blower unit passes ambient air through a filter before delivering it to the wearer’s headgear or facepiece of choice. Blower units are typically offered as face-mounted, helmet-mounted, or belt-mounted configurations and enable workers to move freely and unrestricted.

Self-contained PAPRs are ideal for medium to heavy-duty applications. Innovative all-in-one design provides head, eye, face, and respiratory protection against hazardous airborne contaminants, sparks, flying debris, chemical and molten metal splashes.

We keep science moving forward by offering over 2.5 million products and extensive support services to the research, production, healthcare, and science education markets. Count on us for an unrivaled selection of lab, life sciences, safety, and facility management supplies—including chemicals, equipment, instruments, diagnostics, and much more—along with exceptional customer care from an industry-leading team that’s proud to be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), PAPRs are recommended for concentrations of hazardous particulates or gases that are greater than the relevant occupational exposure limit but are less than the immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) level and the manufacturer's maximum-use concentration (subject to the respirator having a sufficient assigned protection factor). PAPRs provide an assigned protection factor (APF) between 25 and 1,000 depending on the type, and can be used in a variety of working environments, including healthcare, laboratory, welding, heavy industry, grinding, sanding, manufacturing, painting, and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) environments. PAPR systems may consist of the following components:

The 3M™ Versaflo™ Powered Air Purifying Respirator, TR-800 is a PAPR blower rated at Division I for Classes I,II, and III under the most current UL standard (UL 60079, sixth Edition, 2013).

Battery-powered, positive pressure air-purifying respirators suitable for healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and emergency response

EVASTLN2K features the Sightline hood, offering 320 degree onubstructed vision and unparalled comfort. PAFLEXBT breathing tube adds to operator experience and reduces SKUs. This new hood is paired with the reliable EVA PAPR unit which provides up to 8.5 CFM airflow.

Evolutionary Air (EVA) Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) uses a battery-powered fan to draw in ambient air through a filter cartridge then delivers filtered air to the hood. System includes PAPR hood system, EVA blower, battery, charger, and breathing tube.

The Sentinel XL CBRN PAPR system features an adjustable headband, is comfortable to wear, requires no fit-testing, and the lay flat design protects the system and allows it to stow easily in a backpack.
