While Axon does make a line of TASER® tactical flashlights with stun capabilities, we offer the high-powered police strength TASER® energy weapons at Defense Divas®. TASER® energy weapons differ from stun guns greatly. TASER® energy weapons emit two electrical barbs that are attached to the TASER® device cartridge inside the energy weapon. When fired, the TASER® defensive weapon discharges these two long wires with electrical barbs on the end towards the target. Unlike stun guns which must come in contact with the attacker’s body to be effective, TASER® energy weapons deliver the electrical charge to your attacker from a distance of 15-25 feet, depending on the model. This is the biggest advantage in the TASER® energy weapon vs. stun gun debate.
