Anyway, I started messing around with the hand tracking again and found something that's working for me. Under UI Layer in the controls setting, I set up a show/hide button for each hand, so that I don't lower the landing gear midflight or press any other buttons unwantingly, and set up a left and mouse button on my joystick. Still not perfect, but beats the hell out of letting go of the joystick to use the mouse. I can try and post a short video showcasing this tomorrow.

It did not essentially break the Game for me. Just go the meta Quest settings and turn off Developer settings, that fixed it for me. Sure You cant use your Hands anymore, but that didn't worked well anyways.

In reply to the above, I cant get DCS to load in smoothly now, this definately loads in smoother in the latest version, but then I get the manky gloves (black ones with almost 90 degree off) lasers pointers.

Isn't Oculus a 3rd party app? ... BTW, in the last 3 years Meta, has broken DCS multiple times with updates in their software, making DCS unplayable for one reason or another. If you are going into DCS PCVR you are going to be constantly fiddling with setting in multiple places, so better get use to it and have backups and plan's B and C... What it is beyond me, is that none of the ED staff and closed beta users discovered this issue during testing. Hard to believe that none of them uses the hand controllers.

Body cameras will not stop violent encounters or end retail theft, and the expenses associated with equipping workers with cameras will surely end up costing customers. Inflation of food prices is a leading reason people steal, so increased costs of goods to offset the expense of the cameras could just lead to more retail theft.

I'm going to try swapping out a section of old and new for now, if this works, should provide a kind of fix before the new versions hot fix comes out ?

I've spent quite a bit of money and would like to be able to use the product I purchased. We shouldnt have to get some 3rd party app to get your product to work as advertised. ED still won't respond in any way. I filed a support ticket that has been ignored. I guess they left for the weekend after uploading a terrible update that has broke the game for so many users. I even went and purchased that VDXR people were talking about and it still doesn't work. ED you owe me 14.99 plus tax for that imo. Fix the product you sell to people or expect people to find something else to do with their time. This is no way to do business.

So you say just ignore them breaking the game and make the best out of it? No I am a paying customer of theirs. I purchased the new FC3 and haven't played anything since the update. We shouldn't have to fiddle with settings or buy 3rd party apps, it should work. ED should have tested it before leaving for the weekend. That's what people expect. Do you work for ED? Why are you responding to my post? Why are you letting a for profit company get away with half assing everything? This is EDs problem and unless you work for them and are going to fix your mistake I don't particularly want to hear your excuses.

Same here and also can't use HTC Wand, Trackers, Oculus Contorllers. IT IS VERY UPSETTING, that someone release an "update" without a test. I don't belive they tried it in VR and these worked for them. IT IS NOT an UPDATE, IT IS a DONWGRADE (this is a basic function, indipendent from modules, it can be test in main menu!!). I WISH I go back earlier versions! GAME IS UNPLAYABLE! EVEN in ST mode it has been meshed up. In ST MODE the "laser pointer" comes from the bottom of your palm!!!. THIS 2024 UPDATES FAR away from ED quality.... I 'm very dissapointed because earlier(2024) updates also had serial issuses with VR controllers but they don't give a s..t about it. One upon a time there was a company which was in first row in VR implement in simulator and beat MFS and XPlane. No it's gone, they are better...( I can't belive that could be happen..) I stopped updating and don't buy anything from ED till it will be fixed.

I find using this version messes up the loading a little i.e. it jerks around and slow to load in, but at least its playable in the end.

If you did want users answers in a public forum, then you shouldn't have posted here kiddo... And I'm glad you had been using VR for several years without issues... But since you are new to this forum I would suggest that you use the search function and/or browse the VR Bugs section, I'm sure you will be in for a surprise... EDIT... Well, not "new" , you have been around a few years here... But you don't visit often... Also, seem that you have issue reading comprehension issues... No where in my post I defended ED (I actually expressed my disbelieve that this issue was not caught in testing!) but I actually pointed out, that you are actually using 3rd party apps already... I will also recommend that you chill, your outburst and attitude will only give you an ulcer and will not speed up the fix ...

I´m having another issue. My Hand controllers do not appear but the Mouse pointer is locked to my hand anyways (not the hand controller). Even if I turn off the Hand controller its messing up my Cockpit interactions

Doesn't work for me. I had Developer mode turned off on my Quest Pro, didn't work. I turned it on, and tried. No dice. Turned off again and tried, no dice either.
