The original is a scanned PDF document and the intent is to erase some text (not textbox but instead some free form writing on the scanned document). Again prior to the 22H2 update this worked as intended.

We do not want to redact, we want to erase and replace. Plus the redact tool is part of the Acrobat Pro and we have Acrobat Standard

We deployed Windows 10 22H2 to computers and now users are reporting that when editing a PDF in Adobe Acrobat (not reader) using MS Paint that after editing in Paint then saving and closing Paint, the original PDF gets all distorted/blurry/unreadable.
