Insufficient data storage: As an essential tool in a law enforcer’s kit, body cameras are worn for a considerable length of time. Some models lack the storage space to save the amount of data they capture.

As the public’s knowledge of body cameras increases and they become aware of the transparency and accountability they afford officers, studies have shown that their presence in a police incident can significantly deter violent and aggressive acts against them. This greatly enhances officer safety and morale, as well as community trust and transparency.

A base pair consists of two complementary DNA nucleotide bases that pair together to form a “rung of the DNA ladder.” DNA is made of two linked strands that wind around each other to resemble a twisted ladder — a shape known as a double helix. The effort was successful in generating a such a sequence for over 90% of the human genome, but it took nearly two more decades to sequence the remaining bits of the human genome — which were heavily enriched for highly repetitive and difficult-to-sequence stretches of DNA.
