Apply the sign to a swept, clean, dry surface, ideally void of oils and other chemicals. The recommended application temperature is 50 to 100 °F (10 to 38 °C).

The slip-resistant, non-laminated surface meets NFSI and ASTM D2047 specifications and contains embedded glass beads which also reflect light, making the sign easily visible when light is shined on it.
