5 Stars I Use Them Around My Sump Pump. I can’t begin to tell you how much we love your Hurricane Socks. They have saved me from water problems on so many occasions—that’s why I ordered more. I keep a barrier around my sump pump well and on the floor around my water heater/water softener/dehumidifier/condensate pump. When the hose to one of these pumps crept out of the drain and was dribbling on the floor, the socks came to my rescue—contained the problem and kept it from spreading. They are just the best!!! Thank you so much—Nancy Reviewed by: Nancy from IL. on 11/20/2016

It’s hurricane tough.
5 Stars Bought Over 5 Years Ago I had bought 10 of these socks back in 2012 and they are wonderful. Best water socks ever. So now that they are showing signs of wear, we decided to order again. I had kept the shipping notice from the originals so that I could order the same ones again. So glad you are still there. Evelyn PS hope you and yours also have a happy & healthy 2018. Each water absorbent sock will absorb up to approximately one half gallon of water. If you have a leaky basement or window moisture problem, here is the solution. Economical and can last for years with proper care. NEW IMPROVED MODEL can be dried quickly and reused over and over again. Simply hand wring the soaked socks to get the excess water out and reuse immediately. Do not place the socks in your dryer. To dry completely let them air dry. If sock is soiled hand wash and let them air dry.

5 Stars Socks Worked Great First Time I Needed Them. I had the first occasion to use my water absorbent socks and they worked great. As I keep a 120 gallon saltwater tank, water spills are not an unusual occurrence. So recently in making up some water for my tank, I let things get out of hand and had a spill. The socks came in handy to soak up water on my tile floor. Glad I found you – I’ll be ordering more! Reviewed by: Steve from VA. on 11/20/2016

5 Stars Was getting water/mud/branches from the neighbor’s yard on the outside and inside of a shed. I cleaned up all debris, laid down the hurricane socks and no more water. We also get standing water on a large section of the sidewalk after it rains because the yard slopes, so now I’m in the process of digging out dirt to lay down the hurricane socks. I’m giving them a 5 for the shed water. I’ll review how they work at a later date by the sidewalk ….. so stay tuned for results! Reviewed by: Judy from Brunswick. on 6/15/2020
