I have used Apple support so many times mostly just for iPhone. I canât say how grateful I am for the patients and the amount of time that it takes for me to understand and get the problem solved that they have given me incredible incredible patience as I said before because I am technologically impaired Iâm almost 80 years old and I still canât figure some of this stuff out. If it wasnât for technicians that have been patient with me, I probably only be able to text and make phone calls on my phone. I love my Apple devices and again I am most grateful for the patience and help.. thanks again to all who have had the patience to help me the patience it takes for me to get through my problems for me to be able to use my devices be able to use my devicesð

There needs to be modifications on screen time. 1) Thereâs no place to put an additional break / downtime. I would like to add this for school and homework time. 2) Also, I temporarily give my child additional screen time or late bed time. But I have to back and re-adjust it. There should be a place to grant this on a temporary basis (reward/bonus time) and then go back to normal times. 3) sharing location need to be fixed. I have it locked but my child is still able to share it. 4) the ability to lock settings via screen time, should be allowed â¦. My child has found how to make many setting changes. 5) Messages on screen time. In order for me (always allowed to communicate) to send a text message and my child be able to read it, I need to set messages to ALLOWED appl, however I want to limit who my child can communicate with. This needs to be corrected.
After an hour an a half, 3 different people, it is apparent no one is on the same page or understands how IOS works. I have an issue with 18.0.1 and they repeatedly told me I cannot be helped because 18.1 is in beta testing and they donât troubleshoot betas. My issue resides in 18.0.1 not 18.1, yes I want to try the beta but the option isnât there and their only reasoning is âitâs in beta testing.â I fail to see how my problem of something not appearing on 18.0.1 when it is advertised to be there, I was sent multiple links from Apple support saying it should be there, screenshared with them saying it should be there, and then they just gave up on helping and excused it to just all of iOS 18 is in beta and cannot be troubleshot. Very embarrassing on behalf of Apple and after my last 4 products have all had defects, I advise just switching brands. Someone from Apple feel free to reach out so I can properly express my displeasure and we can find a solution. Iâd love to support Apple but Iâve been nothing but turned away each and every time I need assistance. Even so much as booking appointments for replacement screens since their stores donât keep inventory so you can schedule an appointment 2 hours away and be sent home because they donât actually have the screen for the appointment you booked a week in advance.
