Additionally, Müller called for strengthened food security and cited UNIDO's expertise in sustainable supply chains, food safety standards, and processing of agricultural products. He stressed that it is possible to ensure that all people have physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food. However, he warned that geopolitical tensions may make it easy to overlook the centrality of food as a key aspect of worldwide security.

On the sidelines of an event organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Müller was able to meet again with the Togo Minister of Foreign Affairs, Robert Dussey, and discuss food security issues and the just development of critical resources in Africa.

Müller had talks with a number of partners during the conference and pushed for greater prominence of these issues on the international development cooperation agenda. He met with David Beasley, Executive Director of the World Food Programme, to discuss cooperation with UNIDO towards ending hunger. He also affirmed expanding cooperation with Germany's Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture, Cem Özdemir, on agribusiness development and sustainable supply chain management in the countries of the Global South.

There when you need it, I-4 Express is two tolled managed lanes in each direction in the center of I-4, spanning 21 miles from west of Kirkman Road (State Road 435) to east of State Road 434.

Müller's consultations with Bavaria's State Ministers of the Interior, Joachim Herrmann, and of Digital Affairs, Judith Gerlach, covered the Bavarian government's cooperation with Africa and future scientific cooperation focusing on economic development, training, energy, and agriculture.

MUNICH, 19 February 2023 – UNIDO Director General Gerd Müller led a delegation to the 59th Munich Security Conference to discuss development-security issues. During the event, Müller emphasized the need for closer cooperation and partnerships between industrialized and developing countries. He spoke about the importance of global solidarity in ending hunger and stressed the role of job creation in maintaining social stability and contributing to national and regional security. Müller also highlighted the significance of small and medium-sized enterprises in creating jobs for women and youth.
