The intent of this primary standard is to eliminate or minimise the risks of fatalities, injuries and incidents arising from working at height and using elevated work platforms at Laing O’Rourke workplaces. This standard applies to plant and structures at an elevated level or being used to gain access to an elevated level, work in the vicinity of an opening, void or edge, work on or near a surface through which a person could fall and work on or near a slippery, sloping or unstable surface.
