To create and deliver the industry training programs we'll work with employer partners and TAFE SA as the main registered training organisation (RTO). This will help students develop the skills and knowledge that employers actually need.

The exact operating model for the technical college is being determined through consultation with schools, industry and the broader community in the region.

Mt Norma to MtTechnical

The technical college will provide students in Years 10, 11 and 12 with access to industry training on a part-time basis while staying enrolled in their home school. It will support not only public students from across the Limestone Coast region, but will be open to students from the private school sector, with short stay accommodation to be available for about 40 students at a time.
