Motek
Our customer-centric approach supported by the global presence allows us to deliver reliably, in-time, and in high quality.
We decided to have a little fun at Vision 2024 by putting our visitors to the test. Our latest bin-picking demo, powered by Rebl Industries robots, became the stage for an exciting man vs. machine challenge. Attendees were invited to try their hand at slowing down the robot by strategically arranging boxes in the bin to create the most challenging scenario possible.
These innovations are transforming bin-picking and other applications by enabling robots to reliably handle challenging objects, regardless of their shape, material, or placement. This increased capability leads to greater efficiency and productivity, unlocking the full potential of automation across various industries.

The importance of lighting in machine vision applications is paramount. Even the most advanced 3D vision systems are sensitive to lighting conditions. Uncontrolled light, whether too bright, too dim, or unevenly distributed, can hinder the scanner's ability to capture clean, accurate images of the subject.

Uncontrolled light, whether too bright, too dim, or unevenly distributed, can hinder the scanner’s ability to capture clean, accurate images of the subject.
At Vision 2024, we offered attendees a glimpse into the future of logistics with a guided tour showcasing our AI-powered robotic depalletization solution. We know everyone is tired of slow, labor-intensive logistics, so we were excited to demonstrate how this technology can accelerate operations and improve efficiency.
“While conventional structured light technologies need to emit several light patterns in a sequence, the Parallel Structured Light technology allows capturing a number of patterns in one laser sweep thanks to the proprietary COMPIS sensor,” he said. “This enables transparent scanning a magnitude faster than using the standard approach.”
It was a battle of wits and dexterity as our visitors attempted to outsmart the MotionCam-powered robot and disrupt its normally impeccable pace. The results were intriguing, and we captured some impressive attempts to stump the system. How did they fare? Let’s see!
Industrial Vision Days 2024 provided a platform for us to share our latest advancements and engage with industry professionals. The event fostered valuable discussions about the future of 3D vision and its impact on automation.
