The individual diffuser films differ in terms of thickness, colour, light scattering (half-value angle) and transmittance (light transmission). Depending on the application, illuminant, light colour (cold or warm white) and surface, a diffusion films with different light values is recommended. Different types of film and thicknesses can be used to achieve a wide variety of diffusion effects. We will be happy to provide you with the light values for all diffusion films and advise you on your choice. Ultimately, however, you cannot avoid testing with samples to see the light diffusion effect of the respective film with your own eyes. We will be happy to supply you with samples for your components in advance so that you can compare the film types.

LED films made of polycarbonate are characterised not only by good impact strength but also by a high temperature resistance. Due to a resistance of - 40 °C to 130 °C, they can be used for demanding applications worldwide. The manufacturers of PC films specify a continuous service temperature of 105 °C. This allows the use of short-term or long-term applications. This allows use at short-term or permanently elevated temperatures for which diffuser films made of other materials are not suitable.

There is a blemish correction for faulty pixels and a spurious noise filter particularly relevant for low light conditions. We offer all film types as non-adhesive products. We do not have a self-adhesive diffuser film in our range. However, we would be happy to name one of our customers who can provide you with self-adhesive diffuser materials.

A low gain channel and a high gain channel are read simultaneously, and the information combined. This produces an exceptional dynamic range.
