Motorized iris diaphragms are used in the fields of optoelectronics, lasers and medical technology, among others. They allow optical setups to be fully remotely controlled.Thanks to the high-quality materials used, the iris diaphragms are reliable over many thousands of open/close cycles, even under extreme conditions. The iris diaphragms can be optionally equipped with position sensors. This enables closed-loop control of the aperture diameter.
