You’re looking at an OEM XY stage driven by ultrasonic piezo motors. This stage is developed in collaboration with Wienecke & Sinske GmbH.

The 'XWS' piezo XY stages offer a unique combination of high speed, precision, long stroke, and durability in compact design, overcoming the limitations of traditional XY stages where trade-offs have to be made (e.g. stroke length, size factor or speed). Xeryon’s XY motorized stages are gearless, self-locking, energy-efficient and operate at low voltages. They don’t produce a magnetic field, are back-driveable, and free from drift or play.

Opticsbuyers Guide

The XWS is a precise, high-speed XY stage driven by two ultrasonic piezo motors. This allows for fast positioning with submicron precision. The self-locking piezo motor holds the position of the stage when it is not powered. As a result, heat dissipation is considerably reduced.

A motorized XY stage and controller + software are included by default. Other controls upon request. Joystick available upon request as well.

Xeryon’s ultrasonic piezo stages are much faster, have a much larger stroke, a much (much!) longer lifetime, operate noiselessly, consume less power, and operate at a much lower voltage at the piezo element.

This motorized XY stage gives you fast and precise planar motion while also providing you plenty of power and a large surface and aperture.

Yes, this is possible. All of our stages can be paired, sometimes even without the need of mounting brackets. Easily build multi-DOF setups, with or without rotary axes.
