My mother has early stages of macular degeneration and was having trouble reading labels at the store and on her pill bottles. Regular handheld magnifiers were no longer effective for her. After much research I found this product and decided it was best for her needs. She has been using it for a few weeks and is now able to read labels, expiration dates, receipts, mail, etc. and she loves it. Sturdy construction and small enough to be easily carried in her purse. The rectangular lens has a good field of view. I highly recommend this product.

I have had Stargardt disease since age 10 and have been visually impaired since then. I have found the OrCam MyEye Pro device incredibly useful to help read both books and magazines. I have not had much experience with advanced technology, and I was able to easily use this device, especially with the help of AdaptiVision. It has opened up a new world and has helped me read small print on everything from prescription bottles to new recipes. It has also been a great help reading children’s books to my baby granddaughter. I am so grateful to have found this device. Working with Stu and AdaptiVision has been wonderful and I highly recommend them!

I purchased this product for my mother last December. She finds it so helpful that she asked me to send for another so she could have one at each end of the house. In addition to the uses I mentioned in my first review, she says it makes a great flashlight at night. The LED lights up a dark room without being harsh on your eyes.
