A UV pass filter, also known as an ultraviolet pass filter, is an optical filter that is designed to transmit ultraviolet light while blocking visible and infrared light. The primary function of UV pass filters is to allow ultraviolet light (typically those wavelengths from about 10 nanometers to 400 nanometers) to pass through, while significantly reducing the transmission of light in other parts of the spectrum.
