The OD8-DCL509-D Dichroic Beamsplitter is specified to reflect the excitation and transmit the emission of FITC and supports similar alternative fluorophores, designed in conjunction with OD8-EX483-41-B and OD8-EM537-46-B. The filter is manufactured to provide maximum signal and sensitivity delivering exceptionally high excitation passband refleciton ≥ 98% avg and emission passband transmission ≥ 96% avg for a 509 nm 50% Cut-on edge wavelength.

The coating systems used to produce ODiate filters use a dense sputtering process to provide robust environmental reliability to meet the highest demands for thin-film coatings. The resulting highly durable coatings meet or exceed testing procedures including humidity, thermal shock, adhesion, chemical resistance, and moderate abrasion per U.S. Military and international standards.
