Dymax Low-Shrink™ OP-81-LS is a UV/Visible light-curable optical adhesive epoxy with very low shrinkage during cure and is ideal for rapid positioning of optical components. OP-81-LS cures with UV light and includes a low-temperature heat-curing function in applications where shadow areas exist or where heat cure only is preferred. This one-component optical epoxy is recommended for surfaces and substrates including polycarbonate, glass, acrylic, and metallic surfaces. OP-81-LS also meets ASTM E595 outgassing requirements.OP-81-LS requires cold storage/cold shipping and should be kept between 1°C [34°F] and 5°C [41°F] in the original, unopened container.Dymax materials have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency.
