Note: all of our class 1 div 1 lighting are certified for Groups C and D. Some are licensed for Group B. Please check the specifications for each light if you specifically need C1 D1 Group B.

Class 1 Division 1 is a UL classification used in North America. ATEX ratings are a different standard not used in this country. UL-rated and tested for C1D1 lights do not always qualify for ATEX certification and vice versa. In other words, a similar ATEX classification to C1D1 does not mean the light has met UL standards for class 1 div 1 lighting.
