Through some google searching I've seen the question asked a few times, but I guess I'm just looking for a little more information.

Right now as I understand it there are two ways the lights come on. One is linked to the PIR sensor just like any motion detector light, and can be adjusted through Device Settings > Light Settings > Motion Zones for lights. The second is that the lights will come on when the camera is recording.

The whole goal here is to be able to: Record all motion in my selected area, only send alerts for people, and only have the lights come on when the PIR sensor picks up motion. Right now with my current settings I have: Record and alert only for people, so the light come on when it detects people, and when something is detected by the PIR sensor. I have to keep recording off for all motion because the light would turn on every time a car drives by and it's headlights flash into my driveway.

In Device Settings > Light Settings > Motion-Activated Lights (On/Off) "Turn on the lights when the Garage Cam detects motion at night." Sounds like it should be it, but when you turn this off the lights don't come on period, instead of making them come on from the Cam vs PIR sensor.
