Like I said, this is more out of curiosity than anything else. I've been out of touch with the BL community for a while so it feels like I missed something.

Edit: I can definitely agree about him not being the best actor. I don't think he's awful, I think he has a lot of potential and he definitely has some time to grow as an actor. I think this has always been a criticism of him, but lately it seemed criticism turned into hate and I wasn't sure where that came from.

This is really more so out of curiosity for me, 2gether was the series that got me into BLs so Bright's always been considered as one of my favorite actors because he introduced me into BLs. I binge watched a bunch at once, but a few months ago I kind of stopped watching BLs and am only just now watching them again. That doesn't seem like a long time, but after losing that side of tik tok and coming back to it, it seems like a lot of things have changed. Before it seemed like Bright was definitely one of the more popular actors who every BL fan loved, but lately any tik tok I've seen of him seems to be making fun of him in some way. I can never find a clear answer as to why, a lot of the time it seems to be just for fun. I'm not sure if there was something I missed, but now it makes me curious. What are y'all's opinions of him? Is he a problematic actor?
