On select Seaview light bar models some can fold over 90° to allow for extra height clearance. Simply loosen the four bolts around the stainless steel clamp and fold over in either direction. Only LTB-R, LTB-S and LTB-S24 can fold over.

There are many different styles of Seaview light bars so you can be sure to get one that will work with your specific application. Styles for closed dome radars, satellite domes, open array radars and cameras/search lights.

Belllighting

As the object characteristics of inspected part cannot or can only hardly be influenced, the object determines the illumination and the camera! The camera, in turn, defines the optics due to its working distance and mount, due to its data format and data rate it also determines the image acquisition card.

Direct frontlight illumination Surface partly very bright but overexposed, partly dark due to total reflection. Diffuse dom light illumination Surface smoothly illuminated due to homogeneous incident light. Dark field illumination Lateral edges are very bright. Scratches and dust are visible. Backlight illumination Part appears only as black silhouette. No surface information, contures ideal for measurement applications.

I ordered a radar base, mounting pad, and the light to attach to the base. All are high quality and everything bolted right up! Highly recommend

ArmadilloLIGHTING

The items ordered allowed for installation of a new mast light along with a mount for a new radar dome. It took some time and effort to figure out what parts were needed but once all the parts were in it was a very straight forward process of assembling all the components. All went together easily and they look great together.

Only if it is possible to visualize the desired test characteristics or errors with enough contrast, these can then be evaluated with the image processing software. Usually the object is illuminated by an external light source. This principle sounds very trivial, but the practice reveals that it is one of the main difficulties of industrial machine vision to make the error in the object visible at all for the camera.

Secured with a stainless steel clamp, simply use the supplied four bolts. This does not apply to the LTB-SF, LTB-OA and LTB-OA-6 light bars.

Lighting plays a major role for industrial machine vision: Not the object itself, but only the visual image of the object is checked! It follows that only homogeneous lighting conditions result in a consistent image of the same inspection object. Fluctuating light conditions are therefore to be avoided at all costs!

light bar and light made for easy installation the bolts pattern matched right up to my seaview radar base mount. It was not the exact model light bar assembly I had ordered as I guess that particular one was out of stock. All worked out fine. one issue i think could have been better is the light itself. Its cable I think should be longer as it led me to have to splice in an area I would have preferred mot to.

If using the LTBSF4 with the FWD leaning pedestals (PMF57M1 or PMF107M1) for closed dome radar, then you must use the ADAR1DMLTB top plate for proper clearance.
