You can change the date or time of your visit after purchasing tickets. Changing the date of your ticket will be subject to a $1 fee, plus any applicable changes in the price of tickets at the time of the change.

Only dates and times that are still available will show during the rebooking process. Once the event date and time have passed, rebooking is no longer an option.

Through the Arboretum’s participation in the Museums for All program, a limited number of reduced-rate Illumination tickets will be available on select dates for guests with a state-issued Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT, P-EBT or LINK) card, or a valid WIC card. Up to 10 Museums for All tickets can be purchased. When buying tickets online, a valid LINK or WIC card is required to receive the discounted rate. Online ticket purchasers will receive an email confirmation and must show a valid LINK or WIC card with their tickets at the entrance on the night of the event.

The amount you save varies, but the prices listed for each date will always be the lowest option at that time, for that particular date. Prices will never decrease but they may increase, so buying ahead is always your best option.

The best way to save on Illumination is to purchase tickets in advance. Ticket prices may go up based on availability and demand, but they will not go down. You can ensure you get the lowest price by buying tickets now.

Illumination is closed on November 18, 19, 25, 28 (Thanksgiving); December 2, 9, 10, 16, 17, 24 (Christmas Eve), and 25 (Christmas Day).

ComEd is sponsoring a limited number of discounted Illumination tickets. Receive a $5 discount on Illumination tickets by using the code 2024COMEDLIGHTS, while supplies last. Supply is limited and guests are encouraged to get their tickets using this code as soon as possible once tickets go on sale October 15. Arboretum members are not eligible to use the discount code, as members already receive the best price on all Illumination tickets. The discount code is not valid for Electric Illumination, IllumiBrew, or the Illumination Sensory Night. If the code does not apply the $5 discount during checkout, those tickets are sold out.
