This light package contains a PL350 Compact Pistol light body with the G2 switch bar, and our Compact Head. All lights include a single 18350 rechargeable battery, and packages are available with and without a 2-cell XTAR USB charger.

The ALMF supports in-house scientists and visitors in using light microscopy methods for their research. We are assisting throughout the process of microscopic imaging: planning of a project, sample preparation, selection and usage of the microscope, image processing and visualisation, data transfer and storage.

The switch bar is now a solid injection-molded piece updated from the previous two piece design. This one-piece design offers a significant upgrade to the durability of your light switch. Other internal changes to the switch components make for an improved tactile feel.

Modular design is compatible with all slim Modlite heads, which lets the end-user customize the light output to their specific needs.

PL350 Compact maintains all the features that you have come to know and love with our Standard PL350 but with a shorter and sleeker body paired with our Compact Head. Still utilizing a 18350 battery, the PL350C boasts high-performance output while reducing the overall length and size from our Standard Full Size PL350.

We will discuss the feasibility of your project internally and in case of a positive evaluation we will contact you for a more detailed meeting over the phone, via Skype or video conference.

The 18350 cell supports Modlite heads for about 35-40 minutes of continuous use. A defining characteristic of the PL350 is its “Out the front” battery changeability, which allows the user to quickly replace discharged batteries with fresh ones, without tools and without removing the pistol light body from the host weapon.

We are happy to welcome visitors in the Advanced Light Microscopy Facility if capacity allows.Please note that visitors from EMBL’s Member or Associated Member States are our first priority.

Lithium x2 CR123 cells are supported with Compact heads, HOWEVER a single CR123 will not power any Modlite head. PL350 requires a 18350 battery. We recommend our Modlite Protected Cells.
