As Landscape Forms Sales Director Scott Reinholt, ASLA, summarizes: “The devil is in the details.” In order to increase the odds that products favored by a landscape architect are selected, it’s important to focus on product performance and take the time to make sure nothing has been left out.

Diffused lighting interior design

“Landscape Forms continues to be recognized for groundbreaking luminaire design,” said Landscape Forms Lighting President Jordan Agustin. “We strive to go beyond the object and design new ways for people to experience light and for our clients to create moments of delight through lighting.”

The City of Kent has long been associated with aerospace engineering. The original lunar rover was engineering at the Boeing facility in the city. In fact, three of the rovers built in Kent remain on the moon today, designated by the State of Washington as historic landmarks.

Through these two guiding visions and through the profound level of design, engineering and manufacturing expertise that both Landscape Forms and Designworks share, the Typology Collection challenges preconceptions about site furnishing and lighting, creating installations that provide functional value yet also surprise, delight and enhance the landscape even when not in use.

Using the SCANGRIP DIFFUSER MEDIUM togehter with a NOVA R or NOVA 2 CONNECT enlightens the entire working area, even into the darkest corner and softens the light avoiding hard shadows.

Breaking away from traditional lighting vernacular was a central topic of discussion when Landscape Forms designers and engineers began working with their counterparts at Designworks, a BMW Group company, to create the Typology Collection.

Typology ring lights are stunning, seemingly levitating light fixtures with illumination reminiscent of the sun's corona during an eclipse. Perched atop a steel mast, a circular strip of LEDs creates a solid ring of ambient light. And when viewed from underneath, the luminaires are portals to the sky, accentuating a vertical urban landscape.

Diffuselight vs direct light

Using the SCANGRIP DIFFUSER MEDIUM togehter with MULTIMATCH R is especially applicable for checking high spots while coating, as well as car dent repair and detecting dust nibs on painting. The diffuser minimizes reflections and hard shadows from the light.
