The unfinished motherboard SATA power connections you are referring to are either obsolete parts of a previous model motherboard or are pre-cast to accommodate a later version motherboard.  Nothing to worry about and irrelevant to your needs.

PS: About my question number 3 regarding the purpose of the white 4 pin male slot, I was apparently unclear, since you marked every other white connector on the motherbord besides the one I was referring to, which is this, to the left of the black square 4 pin jack connector we discussed for the cable compatibility issue, circled in yellow:

Question 4 was actually somewhat related to the third, and concerned the two sata power empty slots (which are only copper-balled, no connector installed, like "naked") you can see to the right of the picture above, named "SATA-pwr0" and "SATA-pwr2", here highlighted with a red mark:

I bought this used HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop tg01-2000i Product number 58Q98EA, in perfect conditions. The huge downside of this is that it came without the SATA power cable, which I unfortunately realized too late, when I wanted to upgrade it adding an SSD I bought on purpose (this PC has a built-in drive caddy so this upgrade is expected by the manufacturer itself).

i thought the first would fit in the white rectangular 4 pin male slot and the second would fit in the black squared 4 pin jack connector next to the first one, in case the first one didn't work.

Hence I tried using the HP Part Surfer with the serial number of the PC itself, but in the outputted table there was unfortunately no reference to power cable, and using the product name genereted an even worse result, showing only one line of unrelevant information.

Thank you for your time and particularly for the confirmation about thale cable which is the most important part of the the issue, maybe even the only one basically. I'll buy the cable and if that works I'll accept your answer as solution. Thank you again!

3.) The purpose of the two white 4-pin and one 7-pin motherboard slots is for plugging in the power supply's power connections:
