I’m fairly new to building PCs so I’m sorry if this may seem like I’m missing something obvious. So, I had just come across a video by Optimum Tech on YouTube where he explains the benefits of using Performance Boost Overdrive 2 for the AMD 5000 series CPUs. I had followed his instructions exactly as video had shown and was able to set a negative curve to all cores by 20. In his video he was able to get 30 but I understand that not all CPUs are manufactured the same. I used Cinebench R23 for my testing and HWinfo64 for monitoring if that makes any difference. I had also noticed that my scores didn’t really improve either. My scores sit around 21300 with PBO turned on and off. If anything they stayed about the same. The only thing that I was able to notice was that temps had dropped from 71C to 68C under load. Is there something that I'm missing here? How come he is experiencing a noticeable increase? I understand that his curve is -30 but I should still see a performance boost with -20. Also my base clock speeds had dropped from 3675 MHz with PBO off down to 3599 MHz PBO on.

Edit: I had also forgot to mention that volts still seem to be the same as well with PBO on and off. Under load it sits around 1.094v with it spiking up to 1.111v every now and then. I even reset my BIOS to see if I had messed with anything by accident but results stayed the same.
