CERTEX Lifting's Renewables technicians recently teamed up with Vesta's Service technicians for an intensive week of on-site training. It was a busy and productive week, with all participants successfully completing their TSL Level 2 Power Climber training and introductory training on Liftket Hoists. The Power Climber training included all aspects of Service Lifts, including pre-start inspections, wire rope replacement, safety limits, and traction winch maintenance. The Liftket Hoist training covered visual inspection, fault diagnosis, clutch and brake adjustment, part replacement, and compliance with Australian/European and OEM specifications. By completing this training, CERTEX is better equipped to assist our clients with their maintenance and annual inspection requirements, further enhancing our KnowHow and commitment to delivering top-notch service in the Renewables sector. Our dedicated team in Port Hedland recently completed a permanent static line installation at Pilbara Ports. When our customer accidentally bent an anchor point by standing on it on a transfer tower 30-40 meters above the ground, our team responded swiftly. With just one week to restore safe access for maintenance and operations on the roof, they acted with efficiency and commitment to address the issue. We removed the old safety system, installed new anchor points, and ran 30 meters of new wire rope through the new system. Our certified team had all the necessary training and permits for working at heights and on the wharf. We completed the project within the tight deadline, meeting all necessary standards and regulations and worked diligently to ensure the safety of our customers' employees when working at heights.
