I loved the zap cane for walking my pup due to coyotes in area. The only problem was it quit charging after 4 months. Might have been faulty?? Going to take a chance on another one!

I use mine when I walk my greyhounds, who are not fighters, in case they're attacked by a vicious dog. I've never had to use the stinger, but I've had a couple of occasions where just the crackle scared off other dogs. Works well. read less
