The Leadership Development Program Work Group reserves the right to evaluate and determine applicants’ eligibility based on the information and justifications included in the application materials.
Sixteen participants are accepted for the annual program, and they are expected to attend and actively participate in five live meetings:
ASCO’s Targeted Agent and Profiling Utilization Registry (TAPUR) Study is a non-randomized clinical trial aiming to describe the performance of commercially available, targeted anticancer drugs prescribed for treatment of patients with advanced cancer with a potentially actionable genomic variant.
ASCOconnection.org features blogs from members, the online version of the membership magazine, a discussion area, working groups, and links to the Membership Directory, Career Center, and Volunteer Portal.

Note: ASCO will consider extending an eligibility exception for a new child, personal or family illness, or other compelling interruptions in professional development that impacted a candidate’s ability to apply for or participate in the Leadership Development Program.

Candidates who wish to request an eligibility extension should submit their rationale in writing to the Leadership Development Program Committee.
This program requires a time commitment for travel and training. ASCO reimburses participants for hotel and travel costs related to attendance at leadership development meetings and activities held at ASCO headquarters; however, the Annual Meeting travel and hotel expenses are not covered.
