In addition to flight training, attendees will also learn best practices for UAS operations, FAA regulatory guidance for law enforcement agencies, and software tools for extracting actionable information from UAS operations.
All courses are held in Salina, Kansas unless otherwise noted. Registration is required a minimum of one week before the course start date.
Additional meals, travel and lodging are not included in the registration fee and are the responsibility of the attendee.

Developed with input from local and county law enforcement officials, this customized program will result in attendees acquiring the skills necessary to operate UAS for law enforcement purposes. Utilizing K-State's industry-leading technology, including FLIR and optical zoom sensors, pilots will learn the best ways to incorporate UAS into their law enforcement agencies. Simulated scenarios and flight training will take place at Crisis City Training Center.

During this course, pilots will receive extensive hands-on flight training. You can sign up for one of our core module dates or request customized training for your organization.
