Governance Day on 6 December will focus on inclusive land governance, while People’s Day on 7 December will center on the role of youth, women and civil society in decision-making for land's future. Science, Technology and Innovation Day on 9 December will present innovative solutions for land health, while Resilience Day on 10 December will adress policies and approaches for climate resilience. Finance Day on 11 December will engage stakeholders to showcase funding innovations for land and drought resilience.

For the first time, COP16 will introduce a dual approach with a Negotiation Track and an Action Agenda, both interlinked to achieve bold outcomes in formal negotiations and facilitate the implementation of COP decisions.

NFIRS is based on reports from local fire departments and the system contains attributes of fire incidents such as fire size, fire cause and many others helpful in characterizing fire across the U.S.
