The Board of Executive Protection Professionals (BEPP) has partnered with Prometric to develop the first-of-its-kind Board Certification exam for Executive Protection Operations.

This certification stands apart from generic, non-validated certificates. It's a specialized assessment meticulously crafted to evaluate an individual's knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to the field of Executive Protection and Personal Security Management.

If an individual meets the 75 (seventy-five) CEC requirement by the anniversary of their certification issue date, the Board Certification Accreditation will renew for another 3 (three) years.

The objective of the initiative is to create a nationally recognized certification for executive protection.  Passing this exam will award the individual the accreditation of being a Board "Certified Executive Protection Professionals(™) " (CEPP):

The Certification Accreditation will not be valid in perpetuity; rather, it will be valid for three (3) years at a time.  Those who wish to maintain their certification must submit documentation of seventy-five (75) Continuing Education Credits (CEC) during those three (three) years.

Candidates interested in certification need to apply and submit documentation demonstrating that they meet all the minimum requirements.

After the Board approves the application, the applicant will schedule their examination, consisting of multiple-choice questions in specific domains covering over twenty (20) different areas of knowledge that will be administered by a designated third-party professional proctor.
