Roundabouts can move traffic more efficiently which reduces delays and fuel consumption. This is because traffic generally doesn’t need to come to a full stop at the intersection.
More efficient operation results from the yield at entry - drivers only have to watch for traffic from the left, and if there is an adequate gap available, they can enter the roundabout without stopping. Once in the roundabout, drivers have the right-of-way, so they will not have to stop or yield to exit. If the driver does need to yield at entry to traffic inside the roundabout, their delays are brief and typically less than the time they would have been delayed at a traffic signal.
Roundabouts typically aren’t the most popular solution with the public. This app is unusable itâs so buggy, you canât even edit the basic text because as soon as you enter the text editing window thereâs no way to exit the edit window without force quitting the app, and then when you reopen it hasnât saved the changes.Not to mention the fact that you need to provide your phone number for it to work, absolutely no reason it needs that, an email I understand but not a phone number.Also the whole point is that itâs easy for guests to use, but it requires every single guest to make an account, providing more data to them. Super not happy about that. I wonât be using this app, I canât edit anything and I definitely wonât be paying for it.
