Australian Standard hardhat expiry

All hard hats sold within Australia are required to meet the needs of industry in Australia as listed in the Australian Standards AS/NZS 1801.

While all helmets are made to Australian Standards there are two important aspects that need to be checked regularly to ensure the reduction of head injury risk.

Australian Standards require that each helmet is marked with the month and year of manufacture.  This should NOT be used as a basis for determining the life of an industrial safety helmet.
