5 wire 4pintrailerwiring diagram

Trailer connectors are produced in three common styles - 4 pin, 6 pin, and 7 pin. A 4 pin connector is almost always used on trailers that do not utilize electric trailer brakes nor have any need for accessory power and therefore the trailer only requires power for lights. 6 and 7 pin connectors feature pinouts for both electric trailer brakes and auxiliary power supply. Having the various pinout diagrams available is vital to troubleshooting and/or repairing truck and trailer wiring. Note that although the colors and wire sizes listed herein are common, they are not universal and actual color/size may vary by manufacturer, trailer type, and model year. Always verify pinouts using a digital multimeter and follow manufacturer spec when making repairs or modifications.

Excellent size and quality. The price on the Mini USB cable was so good, I bought 3 (assuming they'd be poorly made), but they are EXCELLENT. Thank you!
