The MAN TGX is now available with the new D30 PowerLion driveline . It combines the new, extremely efficient D30 engine with the MAN TipMatic 14 gearshift, which has also been newly developed, for even greater fuel savings with strong performance. Thanks to this, as well as further innovations to increase efficiency, the MAN TGX saves up to 4 % of fuel.

Our large-capacity cabs with an external width of 2.44 m are ideal for long-haul transport and offer plenty of space and stowage for luggage. Personal items can be stored in a variety of practical compartments and shelves. More than two metres of headroom (GX cab) ensure lots of freedom of movement and high living comfort.

The extended hypoid axle with a particularly long final drive ratio, which is used in long-haul transport with up to 44 tonnes gross weight, ensures a lower rated speed and thus lower fuel consumption.

A comfortable and ergonomic workplace facilitates the driver’s daily work routines on motorways or dual carriageways. Our cockpit is optimised to the driver: The focus is on the premium seats with their ergonomic seat contours developed in extensive driver tests. Regardless of the driver’s physique, the seats offer a relaxed and comfortable seating position on long journeys. Instrument panel and exterior mirror designs are aimed at maximum direct view of the surroundings. All controls can be easily reached from the driving position and the display elements are arranged at a perfect viewing distance. Operation is intuitive and clear. With the innovative MAN SmartSelect control unit including a hand rest, the driver can easily operate the infotainment system even in difficult driving conditions.

For best possible relaxation and fast regeneration during rest periods, drivers need a healthy sleep. We provide for excellent sleeping comfort – our comfortable beds with high-quality slatted frames have adjustable headrests and extra strong mattresses divided into comfort zones. Numerous functions such as air conditioning, infotainment and lighting can be operated directly from the bed via the tethered remote control. The additional acoustic and thermal cab insulation as well as the optional electric auxiliary air-conditioning system ensure maximum peace and an optimum comfort climate in the cab.

Thanks to the efficiency-enhancing product innovations from model year 2025, fuel consumption is reduced in the standard semitrailer tractor (long-haul transport) with a D30 engine (Euro 6e) compared with a vehicle from model year 2024 with a D26 engine and without the equipment features mentioned.

With MAN OptiView , the driver always has an excellent overview – even when driving at dusk or at night. Five exterior cameras capture the traffic situation next to, behind and in front of the truck. Irritating glare from the low sun or from high-beam headlights of following vehicles is filtered out. The displays in the cab – on the left and on the right in the area around the A-pillar – automatically adjust to the ambient brightness, the camera image is always perfectly visible. The view through the side windows is no longer obstructed by mirror arms.

With the MAN eTGE, refrigerant R134a is used. The GWP value of the refrigerant used is 1.430 (refrigerant type R134a). The fill levels depend on the refrigerant compressor and vary between 560 and 590 grams.

Another efficiency-enhancing component in long-haul transport is the MAN EfficientCruise GPS-assisted cruise control with PredictiveDrive. The cruise control detects up and downward gradients along the route up to three kilometres (two miles) in advance and always adjusts the selected gear and speed to achieve optimum economy whilst driving.

MAN ComfortSteering enhances the hydraulic steering system of your MAN truck with additional steering torque from an electric motor. The electronic control unit reliably ensures precise steering and directional stability. At higher speeds, the active MAN ComfortSteering system automatically reduces the steering force, making it easier for the driver to maintain directional stability. The navigation system ensures that the system is only activated when driving on motorways. It will be automatically deactivated before using routes which are unsuitable.

Additional equipment and accessories (add-on parts, different tyre formats, etc.) may change relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. In conjunction with weather and traffic conditions and driving style, they may also affect fuel and power consumption, CO2 emissions and the performance figures for the vehicle.

The interior is impressive thanks to a timeless, stylish design in two different colourways. The first option available is Desert Beige with Tuscan Red, creating a cosy atmosphere. The second option, Dark Moon Grey with Silver, gives the cab an urban elegance. Due to its robustness, this colour choice is particularly suitable for use in construction site applications.

The air-conditioning systems in our vehicles contain fluorinated greenhouse gases (R134a / GWP 1,430 with up to 1.15 kg equivalent to 1.6445 t CO2). In MAN TGE vehicle classes N1, M1, N2 and M2, refrigerant of the type R1234yf is used. The GWP value of the refrigerant used is 4 (refrigerant type R1234yf). In case of one refrigerant compressor, filling quantities vary between 540 and 570 grams. In case of two refrigerant compressors they vary between 785 and 815 grams.

Efficiency classes rate vehicles for passenger transport with an M1 passenger vehicle registration according to the CO2 emissions under consideration of the vehicle dead weight. Vehicles which conform to the average are classified as D. Vehicles which are above the current average are classified as A+, A, B or C. Vehicles which are below average are classified as E, F or G.
