This is our favorite comment from customers. Don't get us wrong, we know there are a lot of great DJs and we trust them to deliver great music and great sound equipment. But when it comes to packages or bundled deals that include free lighting - be very careful! You've worked hard to create the perfect ambiance for your event, why ruin it with cheap or tacky lighting?

American Party Lights provides 5-day rentals at a lower price than typical 1-day rentals. Your reservation starts on the indicated "Arrival Date" listed on your order, regardless of how early they may arrive. The lights are due back to UPS by the fifth day.

Cancellation of gobo package rentals or gobo design services will only be allowed 48 hours from the time the reservation was placed or prior to the customer's custom gobo being designed or sent to production (whichever comes first).

Cancellations at least 30 days prior to your event will receive a full refund*. Cancellations 14 days to 29 day prior to your event will receive a refund minus the deposit. Cancellations less than 14 days prior to your event will be due in full.

Select the date of your event on the calendar. We will deliver your lights 2 days prior. All dates will be outlined on the following pages.

Our rental fee includes everything – including shipping both ways. However there are circumstances in which additional fees will be incurred. They include but are not limited to:

Perfect for concerts, dance parties, or Halloween houses this unit produces one thing…ENERGY! With five rings (zones) you can dial up or down the intensity of the light so that it’s appropriate for your audience. Utilizing LEDs means the unit draws very little energy (only 70 watts). Book early to ensure availability!

Included with your reservation is complimentary two-way shipping anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. At this time we do not offer delivery to Hawaii or Alaska. Your return shipment must be packed in the same box(es) they arrived. An additional fee will be charged if a different box is used for your return shipment or if any packing material is not included with the return.

The date you selected is only available with approval. We make every effort to fulfill last-minute orders. Please complete the request form and if approved we will provide password to complete your reservation.

Italian Open

25% holds your reservation with the balance due two weeks prior to your event. During checkout there is an option to have your balance automatically charged to your credit card when it becomes due.

*As of 2/1/2020 all cancellations will incur a 5% charge of the refunded amount. Changes with our merchant processor now prevent us from recouping the merchant processing fees associated with the amount being refunded.

To Secure Your Reservation with a Purchase Order Select “Pay with PO” on our website You will be charged $1 for each different light you reserve. For example, if you rent 10 x LED Uplights and 5 x LED Glob String Lights you will be charged $2. Complete checkout Send us the original Purchase Order. You may initially email your Purchase Order to us on your organization’s official letterhead however, an original must be mailed to:

Of course if you want to guarantee you know what you'll get you can rent our party and dance lights. We can help create a fun atmosphere that's appropriate for your event. First, take a look at what we offer and make notes of what you like. Then if you have questions or want to make sure you have what you need contact us. We'd love to review your reservation, make recommendations, and ensure everything looks good.

Your balance is due 2 weeks prior to your reservation. You will receive an email reminder at that time with instructions for logging into your account to make payment. If you would like to pay your balance at any point before this please contact us.

Return the lights in the same box they arrived to the nearest UPS location. We will indicate on your packing list when the lights are due back to UPS. The prepaid return label can be found in the box with all of your other rental paperwork.

For last minute orders (those requiring a password to proceed with their order) expedited shipping may be added to their reservation. We will always seek approval prior to completing your reservation when expedited shipping charges are required.

If you're going to use your DJ for lighting ask them for example photos and videos of what their lighting looks like. Make sure the lights will compliment, not clash with the ambiance you've created. Ask them what colors they will use and how many lights they will provide.

For schools and businesses we can secure your reservation with a $1 charge to your credit card and payment by check sent by mail. Your card will be held for incidentals and removed once your rental is returned. Please read and understand our complete purchase order process prior to placing your order.

All Purchase Orders are verified and confirmed with the appropriate purchasing departments. Original Purchase Order is required with an authorized signature, and an itemized list of rental items and the American Party Lights’ reservation number. We reserve the right to refuse any Purchase Orders not conforming to our policies.

No. We include a pre-paid return label with your rental. Simply place the return label over the label on the box and drop off the box at your nearest UPS location.

We ship your rental to you free of charge, it will arrive at least 2 days prior to your event. When you are done with your rental simply drop off the package at any UPS location using the pre-paid UPS shipping label. Please note: If you’d like to schedule a UPS pickup at your home or business location an additional fee will be charged to your rental. For last-minute. reservations requiring expedited shipping an additional charge will be charged. We will always approve this charge with you prior to proceeding with your reservation.
