Each electrician doing the quotes said it should be fairly straightforward to run 10mm2 and one said they may be able to do 16mm2 and they'd prefer to do that if possible.

The existing underground 32mm conduit is virtually a straight run about 20-25m from shared meter box to my townhouse's garage MSB. We had to search to find the conduit entry point at the house because it was nowhere near the switchboard. It was behind the built in robe in the bedroom. I've said they can cut whatever hole they need as I'll just repair the gyprock myself and repaint.
