The live support integrated into and a testing / Practical Application element will confirm that the course participant. All students completing the online executive protection program will receive and certificate of completion.

You will receive a Certificate of Completion once you have completed the online executive protection course package, but if you wish to continue your protection education, online course graduates will be invited to attend optional resident training to confirm your knowledge and teach the skills you have learned online. Here are some of the skills covered in the 12 day hard-skills portion of the hybrid course

Our Online course is a formal educational program and not just talking-head or tips-and-tricks videos. We are preparing course modules that will put the student on the ground in challenging environments to walk through advance work, challenging planning issues and going through the entire protective mission. Students will be tested, assigned home-work, and must maintain a certain standard to receive the certificate of completion at the completion of the course. The course will be self-paced and will be available to view on a desktops, laptops, tablets or mobile phones.

Option 3:  Check for corrosion.  If you insert a fully charged battery and don’t get any vibration or LED blinking, check the battery contacts for corrosion. Put alcohol on a cotton swab and wipe off the corrosion then try again.  I recommend isopropyl alcohol.  For very stubborn corrosion, try concentrated 99% alcohol.  Caution: DO NOT pour alcohol into the controller.  Allow the alcohol to evaporate before reinserting the battery.  You might also check for corrosion on the battery itself.

This problem can occur if you leave the batteries in the Quest controller for an extended period without using it.  To avoid this problem in the future, either use the Quest more regularly, or make sure to remove the batteries from your controllers if you won’t be able to use them for a while.

Option 1: Wake up controllers.  After a period of inactivity, the controllers will turn themselves off.  Your Quest might not find the controllers if the controllers went to sleep mode.  Try pressing the buttons on the controllers first to wake them up.

If you insert a fully charged battery, you should feel your controller vibrate, and the Quest 2 controller should blink 3 times below the embossed Oculus logo on the ring around the controller.

Online graduates will receive discounted training at our training locations in the US and internationally  If your team (6 or more) is going through the online training together, we can send instructors to your location. This hybrid training concept consists of the Online Self-Paced Lessons and a 120day (12 hours per day) hard-skills academy to complete you medical certificates, conduct your firearms and driving program. SECFOR will schedule multiple 12-day Hard-skill session throughout the year, and students may schedule any one of them when their online theory lessons are complete.

Option 2: Low battery.  Check if your controller battery has enough of a charge.  If you replace the battery, make sure to insert them with the correct polarity (the positive side should point toward the bottom of the handle).
