After you shut down the Quest 2, hold down the power and Volume (-) buttons for at least 20 seconds. Put on the headset and, using the volume buttons, navigate to Factory Reset and press the power button to select it.

First, shut down your Quest 2 and then plug in your USB-C charger. Does the LED turn orange (indicating it is charging) or red (meaning it isn't charging)? The latter signals a problem, but it could be related to your power brick or cable.

If your Quest 2 can't hold a charge, Meta might fix it for you with a warranty, but there are other solutions to consider.

You can disassemble the Quest 2 yourself or find a third-party option, but its design is extremely unfriendly to DIY repair and you could easily break the device. A better option is to bypass the internal battery and rely on an external battery strap instead, most of which can surpass the Oculus Quest 2's original 2.5- to 3-hour battery life.
